FDI was reported $425 million last year.
An increasing levels of the foreing investment is key to the Cambodian continued economic growth.
-The Japanese company, Biwako Bio-Laboratory, will invest $800 million for a factory to refine the castor oil to the gasoline substitue fuel and will plant castor beans on 48,000 hectares (Kg.Speu & Kg.Cham) of 100,000 tons of castor oil yield annually generated 40,000 tons of bio-diesel after the refinement.
