after a decade

The last decade has been a whirlwind. I reached the peak of my career, felt moments of pure happiness; but life isn’t always pink. Misunderstandings, personal failures in communication, lack of social skills, and unsteady romance have all left their mark. From zero to 100, and back to zero. Yet life keeps moving, and so must I. Now, I hope to reignite the fire and ambition that once carried me forward.

Life keep goes on

One memorable event in life will be coming to me soon; it was a quick decision and short preparation of engagement then wedding.. hopefully that it will be wonderful for me.

New mission

Apprently, September announces bright with lucky draw win & new appointment for a noble mission ahead.. 

However, personal issues turn little conplicated over than expectation, especially in relationship wherewe are turning to be stranger after consecutive fights.. 

I hope that it could turn back better in short time. hope so.

1y10d is actually how old it is.. a sadden tome that i just feel to stop second to run.. well, i confess that i am so weak to bear the emotion to hearing something bad just like break up for a while... i frel actually on the crossroad either to swallow it or to let it go.. 

Etymology of Cocinchine

According to Wiki :

Cochinchina (Vietnamese: Nam Kỳ, Khmer: Kampuchea Krom) is a region encompassing the southern third of Vietnam whose principal city is Saigon or Prey Nokor in Khmer.

In Vietnamese, the region is called Nam Bộ. Historically, it wasGia Định (1779–1832), Nam Kỳ (1834–1945), Nam Bộ (1945–48), Nam phần (1948–56), Nam Việt (1956–75), and later Miền Nam. In French, it was called la colonie de Cochinchine.

In the 17th century, Vietnam was divided between the Trịnh Lords to the north and the Nguyễn Lords to the south. The northern section was called Tonkin by Europeans, and the southern part called Cochinchina by most Europeans and Quinam by the Dutch.

During the French colonial period, the label moved further south, and came to refer to the southernmost part of Vietnam, controlled by Cambodia in prior centuries, and lying to its southeast. Its capital was at Saigon. The two other parts of Vietnam at the time were known as Annam and Tonkin.......

It is just my personal observation, Cochinchina may be combined from Cochin and China. Cochin might actually a term to call Kochi which is in India, thus when Westerners were in exploration centuries, they might had gone east to Kochi of India, the further to a straight before reaching China, so where does come this calling.

Anniversary

Special day is today.. 

i feel not so good just now because i escape for cinema alone after leaving my gf's home... 😔 well i promise for "ninja turtle" this week with her either thursday or friday since she is going for trip with colleague on saturday.. not so sure because of my unplan schedule..  

today is our anniversary.. might be the first meaningful one for me, i could not manage to have any gift... alot of pressure & countless urgent stuffs make me tired .. still we could arrange for a drink before home (we are non alcohol drinkers), thanks for her understanding, my big lady.. love my Bii..

August the great

Finally, i could manage to get at least a writing per month, but hope i could share more. The thing is that i am not really talkative and often run out of topic after few one. My bad points that really need to be improoved since my career needs it  eventhough is not an obligation. Who i am actually?

i am just an official, that what written on my service passport, but some use the term civil servant, maybe they have different intepretation over it. still i prefer addressing myself an official in public sector. We are not servant! lmao.. it happens this morning that a group of protestants came to my work place file a request over a controversal speech of spokeman of the embassy of country (nickname invented as Torb) Torb.. & accused us with unbearable words like "puppet of Torb" "dog owned by Torb" "slave of Torb" "ingratitude toward nation" "traitor".. but hey let's forget about this fact, too many things to talk.. the point is that i should stop myself using the term Civil Servant as for a honor to myself & group of people who have equal profession to other.. 

I am really late for lunch.. yummy one pls buddy, always go to my flavor, japanese  rice pork with soya soup..

Feb.Mar.May.?????? I cant wait till August to have a new article. It is not +0, +1 and +2...
Because July is so special in my calendar, many friends are born this month..
But more special, JuLY is also my special month, i have decided to gift myself a surprise. lolz. how to surprise myself? it sounds weird..

Happy Birthday to me.. my 34 & i am still surfing with no concrete life goal. I hope it's not yet late to discover it one at this age. Wish myself all the best luck, happiness, success, good health, and prosperity.

May comes after March.. of course not, it was April.. April fool.. but it was Khmer New year of BE. 2558 of Horse, Momee.. Best wishes to all family members & relatives in Cambodia-Fr.US.AUS, friends & colleagues a year full of happiness, success, good luck, good health and prosperity especially the Four famous gems of Buddha blessings...

And now is May, 1st ... many are born this month that makes May one of popular female nickname.. but for all around the world, May is symbolized by its Labour Day, a concept purely from Western world (i am Orient World, which should be very clear). It's public holiday in Cambodia and most of working office are off today, except service related works like hotels, restaurants & other public services as well as some part of civil servants like traffic polices, gendarme, military officers.. (the latter gather gather around city and few important spots to provide security in town, especially to prevent a manifesto in form of public gathering celebrating today's event.. !!! too details in politics and all about party demagogy which i dont really like).

And i decided not to go office today even though i have plenty important files to study and work on. Let's forget it today, and will resume it tomorrow. After years of hard working and how successful am i in my career through out consecutive promotions, i realized that i am completely idiot and stupid person for the fact that i devoted nearly 10 hrs daily to my work rather to be a good son and time for myself for work out or holidays... i come up with new own motto: WSHF..work smart, hard fun..

And i will going to request leave for holidays..

1st March

what came to me when i just woke up the morning was not engagment ceremony of my niece and nephew, nor many weekend work assignments which have killed me over past years.. but the countdown to oscar nomination 2014 event that a Cambodian film was selected in last5 for this sunday nomination.. i will of course shift my badminton play to the evening and going to see exposition of the Missing Picture Exhibition at Bophana center. more to comes.. photo of the figures in that movie whicjv is about Rhmer Rouge 1975-1979...
