These 3 persons were the cause of the tension in the areas surrounding Preah Vihear Temple.- Thailand claims that the boundary line follows the watershed.
- Cambodia, victim of Colonial regime brought the temple case to ICJ from 1959. 1962 ICJ ruled the temple under Cambodian sovereignty, and the border line at that area is as indicated int he Annex I map (below photo) and quoted "it becomes unnesccesary to consider wherther, at Preah Vihear, the line a mapped does in fact orresond to the true watershed line in this vicinity, or did so correspond in 1904-1908, or, if not, how the watershed line in fact runs." unquoted.
